Ben and Nicole spent the day absolutely thrilled to be beginning their lives together. Ben embraced and kissed Nicole every chance he got. Anyone in the room could tell how madly in love they are with each other. The Student Union in Champaign was a great place to get into wedding mode and get ready for the big day ahead. As we stepped onto the quad to photograph Nicole she kept telling us that when she attended U of I she would see weddings going on all of the time and she never thought it would be her someday! As Ben and Nicole enjoy 3 weeks in New Zealand, this is what I have been up to!

In India brides wear red dresses instead of white on their wedding days. Nicole wanted to incorporate this culture into her wedding so she wore these red bangels that her mother brought back from India many years ago.
We decided the English building was an appropriate backdrop for Nicole as she recalled all of her hard work and sometimes all nighters she pulled inside this building.
Always my favorite moment of the day. (below) Nicole is waiting to see Ben for the first time on their special day. It was hard to only pick a few photos to share with everyone because we got so many great ones! The stairs allowed Mark and I to get two very different viewpoints. (A huge plus to having 2 photographers!)
Off we headed to Allerton Park for the ceremony. Everyone was anxiously checking their iPhones at the radar because a storm was rolling in! We got some great photos of the soon to be husband and wife before we got rained on!
The ceremony was delayed but look what soon rolled in! A rainbow! It was time to get these two married!
Congrats Ben and Nicole! Your wedding was fabulous and we are so glad we got to be there on your special day!
