This was another wonderful wedding, albeit on a rather hot and humid early summer day. Everyone was a real trooper and we got some great photos, thanks to my super helper Katelyn.
I am going to let Katie tell you more about the details.
“I can’t believe we’re married! The time sure has gone by fast since our January 1st, 2009 engagement. We had almost all of the wedding planning done within the first few days! From the church, reception hall, dress, and dj, to the photographer and flowers, the planning went smoothly, even flawlessly. We sure were lucky to have all of the major planning done before going back home to Colorado. We wouldn’t be back in Illinois until the week before our June 26th wedding!
The wedding day went on without a hitch! June 26, 2009 proved to be a gorgeously sunny day, although to say it was a tad on the humid side would be an understatement. Our friends and family were good sports, though, and endured the heat well to create some awesome photos and memories! Tim even seemed to enjoy himself despite the fact that he hates pictures—Mark sure does work wonders! We were so blessed to have so many dear friends and family share in our wedding day. We were excited to share the message of marriage and what it means to us as a covenant to each other and to the Lord. It is only though Him that this day turned out to be the best day of my life! Looking back on this day will surely always bring a smile to my face, remembering the joy and the love we shared and experienced that day.” ~ Katie
Thanks Katie, it really was a beautiful wedding! You guys along with the help of your mother did a great job planning everything from such a far away distance.
I love your comments about Tim and the photos. Tim you did a great job and I know that photos are not your favorite thing in life. LOL To all you grooms out there, photos can be fun and pretty much painless.
Thanks again for having us be there, it was a blast!
